Base layers such as the Vanucci Seamless Ladies' Long-Sleeved Shirt are highly recommended. That's not just what we think, but also what many customers say. With good reason, because this highly elastic base layer, as the first clothing layer worn next to the skin, prevents your body from chilling and also prevent excessive sweating.

The fabric is very lightweight and elastic. In fact, it moulds itself perfectly to your body, which means that the different zones of the base layer lie exactly in the position where they can perform most efficiently. We define these in three ways:

• Insulation zones in areas of the body that are particularly susceptible to cold, such as the elbows, lower arms, kidneys, shoulders and upper chest
• Heat-release zones on the back and chest to help maintain the body's natural warmth level
• Moisture-wicking zones under the arms and on the chest, inside of the elbows and back, so your skin stays pleasantly dry.

Each of these zones is designed to ensure that you feel completely comfortable when riding your motorcycle and during other activities. Which also means that your body's performance levels are maintained and even enhanced. If your body becomes chilled or sweats excessively, you can't perform to your maximum ability. And that includes riding a motorbike.

The hi-tech DRISEC-2 yarn increases the efficiency of wicking moisture away from the skin. Special zones for insulation and for releasing heat and moisture ensure an optimal body climate. Insulation zones reduce undesirable cooling of sensitive and exposed parts of the body. Heat-release zones help to maintain the body's natural warmth level. Moisture-wicking zones quickly channel sweat away from the skin, leaving your skin feeling comfortable and dry.
