D3O Air is a patented protective material. The combination of enhanced chemistry and special material properties creates excellent shock absorption and a high level of impact protection.

Issue 11-2012

"Motorrad News" magazine tested the Rukka D3O protectors in its 11-2012 issue, as part of its joint protector survey, and awarded them a MOTORRAD NEWS RECOMMENDATION. The shoulder protectors scored five out of five, while the elbow and knee protectors were both awarded four out of a possible five points. The following features were given special mention:
