It functions as a charger and you can easily charge your mobile phone while riding. Quick Charge 2.0 for fast charging is supported and an overvoltage and polarity protection is integrated to protect your mobile phone from incorrect installation. The Quad Lock Motorcycle USB Onboard Socket is also IP66 water resistant. So there's no need for a cover, no matter how hard the rain hits you on the road. In addition, you can be sure that the charger does not consume battery power when it is not in use. So there is no risk of the battery being discharged.

Installation is simple, as the motorbike USB socket can be seamlessly integrated into any Quad Lock motorbike mount (handlebar, mirror or steerer tube) or connected with a 1" ball adapter. The charger is attached under the head of the actual Quad Lock mount. This allows it to supply power without the need for long, loose charging cables. The 1.5 m SAE connection cable and the 20 cm SAE-to-battery ring terminal cable connect the unit directly to the battery terminal or any other existing SAE connection.
