Anybody who looks at the LSL conversion projects can see straight away that the people work with a great deal of passion and at least equally as much technical expertise. It is true that LSL places enormous value on creating a great look for all of its products, but maximum biking pleasure through excellent performance is always central to every product development. LSL has made an extremely good name for itself in the field of ergonomic optimization (handlebars, grips, levers and footrests). LSL also specialises in chassis- and hydraulic components, crash protection and lighting. This product is made of high-quality aluminium and will look great on your motorbike. To ensure that it gives you years of pleasure, please observe the following instructions: To keep this product in top condition, it should be treated after long trips in winter, or in rain or salty air (near the coast), and also at periodic intervals.
Water and salt encourage corrosion. After cleaning (e.g. with Procycle Special Gel Cleaner, Order no. 10004909), we recommend regularly polishing aluminium parts with standard aluminium polish (e.g. Alu-Magic, Order no. 10004031).
Technical accessories whose operational safety depends not only on their own strength and function, but also on proper installation on the vehicle, are often supplied with a TÜV (German Technical Inspection Association) certificate. The user is obliged to have such accessories immediately registered in the vehicle papers by a TÜV test centre. This also involves the TÜV inspector checking the vehicle's operational safety. A charge is made for such registration.
Today, TÜV reports are increasingly issued for specific types of vehicle. However, no manufacturer is able (e.g. for cost reasons) to have their products tested on all vehicles which might use them. If a vehicle model is not listed, it is the inspector who has to decide about registration on the basis of his technical expertise; the strength of the product and its roadworthiness are confirmed by the existing TÜV report.
Since 2002, TÜV only accepts component certificates which include verification of the manufacturer's quality management system according to the requirements of §19 Appendix XIX of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) in the form of a valid certification document. Older reports can now only be used in exceptional circumstances in the course of a full technical inspection (Bauratabnahme), but the inspector is by no means obliged to make the entry in the papers.

Brits and Americans trust in these dimensions. Handlebars with a 1 inch diameter have always been used in heavier chopper models and, today, are also used for the latest Triumph Bonneville and Thruxton Classic sports bikes.
Used as standard in Harley Davidson bikes, up to now no manufacturer has been able to produce strong one inch aluminium handlebars in attractive colours. As so often in the handlebar sector, LSL is now the first company to offer handlebars made of high-strength aluminium with a 1-inch diameter.
Using a unique process, the 25.4 mm aluminium tube with a wall thickness of 4.5 mm is rolled conically inward in the area of the handlebar clamps to produce a lower wall thickness at the bar ends. At just half the weight, this production process guarantees greater strength than is achieved with steel handlebars.
The new handlebars from LSL come in five different versions. The classic "Drag Bar", sporty "Clubman", street fighter "Street Bar", the comfort-inspired "Roadster" and the wide "Flat Track" handlebars. Most models are optionally available with or without slots for internal cable routing. All handlebars are anodised to inhibit corrosion, the following colours are available: Silver and black matt bead-blasted and high-gloss polished gold and silver.
