Microfibre fleece from 3M. Extremely thin, lightweight fibres which have a large total surface for good protection against the cold. For a given thickness, Thinsulate is almost twice as warm as duck down. It is moisture-repellent and breathable. Often used for making gloves etc.

3M Scotchlite consists of a large number of microscopically small, reflective glass beads. The reflective material is visible from a distance of 160 m, which significantly improves the wearer's safety at night. It can be used in visually interesting ways, for instance in the form of emblems or narrow decorative stripes.

This motorcycle glove has a back lining of very soft, winter-warm fleece, while the breathable, wind- and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane gives reliable protection if the wind suddenly starts to blow icy cold. Then the wrist warmer pocket designed for inserting a gel heat pack is a welcome feature!
